- PROJECT TITLE: Shady Maple Overlook at Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, LaCrosse District, Onalaska, Wisconsin, LaCrosse County REFUGE LOCATION: Upper Mississippi National Fish and Wildlife Refuge, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, LaCrosse District, 555 Lester Avenue, Onalaska, WI 54650-8552 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work includes but is not limited to the construction of a 50 foot x10 foot concrete overlook, including railings, bench, notice board, spotting scope, curb and gutter, and site grading at the Shady Maple Hwy 35 Turnout located just south of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is issued as a set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a size standard of $14.0 million. The solicitation package will be available via electronic commerce at http://www.fedconnect.net and http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 25, 2012, with quotes due on or about August 24, 2012. No telephone requests for the solicitation can be accepted. This solicitation will NOT be available in hard copy. The electronic package will consist of separate files for the standard form used for the submission or your quote, the specifications, drawings, and the prevailing wage determination. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded solicitation package before submitting your Quote. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Quote. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov to be eligible for this award.
