N00164-12-R-JN38 -.50 CALIBER AND 7.62 CALIBER FEED CHUTES AND LINK CHUTES FSG 10 - NAICS 332994 Anticipated Issue Date 08 AUG 2012 - Anticipated Closing Date 08 SEP 2012 - 3:00 PM EST This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division intends to procure.50 Caliber and 7.62 Caliber feed chutes and link chutes to support the GAU-17/MK-44 and GAU-21 weapon systems in accordance with applicable Government drawings. Production units will be required within 150 days after the date of each delivery order issued. Delivery requirements shall be F.O.B. destination; inspection and acceptance will occur at destination by a Government representative. This procurement will be a 100 percent small business set-aside. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation requirements, is determined most advantageous to the Government, past performance and price factors considered. Contract award will be for a minimum of $3,000, maximum total contract amount $5,000,000.00, This will be a competitive, non-commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Part 15 and will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), five-year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The solicitation and drawings will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 08 AUG 2012. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/contractors.aspx. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall also complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to the FBO and NECO websites as amendments to the solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that submitted a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
