- The Erie VAMC is seeking information from interested contractors regarding a system to monitor the temperatures of refrigerators at the Community Based Outpatient Clinics associated with the Erie VAMC. The desired features of the system are listed below. The Erie VAMC encourages all interested contractors to submit any information supporting the product proposed to the following individual: Adam Dombrowski Contracting Officer 135 East 38th Street Erie, PA 16504 Adam.Dombrowski@va.gov FEATURES: - TEMPERATURE SENSOR SHOULD BE BATTERY OPERATED - TEMPERATURE SENSOR SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN DATA DURING POWER OUTAGES - TEMPERATURE SENSOR SHOULD TRANSMIT DATA TO A RECEIVER - EACH RECEIVER SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACCEPT INPUT FROM SEVERAL SENSOR TRANSMITTERS - RECEIVER SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE VA NETWORK - DATA SHOULD BE COLLECTED ON A CENTRAL COMPUTER - CENTRAL COMPUTER SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE INPUT FROM AT LEAST 5 DIFFERENT RECEIVERS - SOFTWARE FOR CENTRAL COMPUTER SHOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP SEPARATE FILES FOR EACH RECEIVER - SOFTWARE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GENERATE ALARM NOTICES - OPERATING SYSTEM FOR CENTRAL COMPUTER SHOULD BE WINDOWS DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
