- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only. Response to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals or quotes are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTES and NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall NOT be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (VAGCVHCS) is seeking to sole-source with Medtronic Inc for Paceart System to include the following: Clinic only Software to entail two (2) years services fees, Paceart HL7 ®/SML Integration Modules, two(2) Paceart ECG Modules & ConMed Cables, two (2) Isolation Transformers, 2.5 days of connectivity both -Inbound Registration/Scheduling, and Consultation Outbound - Clinical Data, Paceart Server License, Conversion Fee services. The Paceart system with session sync will allow integration of the pacemaker/AICD clinic with CPRS and VISTA Imaging, eliminating the need for paper charts, scanning of paper clinic notes and manual data entry of progress notes for each visit. This system allows tracking of all patients in device clinic, to improve patient compliance with clinic follow-up, and patient monitoring. This system also allows for better management of OPTIVOL monitoring via remote monitoring for CHF patients to decrease hospitalization rates. The system will improve the information available to employees for management of these patients. The NAICS for this is 423450 (Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers), size standard of 100 employees. Offeror's response to this Notice shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information: "Offeror's company name, DUNS, address, point of contact, title, phone number, and email address "Offeror's interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued "Offeror's capability to meet this requirement (may include product literature) including any current and past orders/contracts (Civilian or Government). "Offeror's type of business (small or large) and socioeconomic status whether Service Disable Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Hubzone, 8(a), Woman Owned, Small Disadvantaged, etc. Responses must be received no later than 4 pm Central Time July 18th, 2012 and be emailed to Melanie.Grigsby@va.gov using "Sources Sought Notice VA256-12-Q-1445" in the subject line. Facsimile responses will not be accepted. After review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website (www.fbo.gov ). Simply checking "'interested" is not considered an adequate response to the solicitation announcement. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
