- Description
- This is a notice of intent that Robins AFB Georgia intends to solicit and negotiate, under full and open competition, software engineering support for the AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispenser Set (CMDS). This effort shall provide engineering support related to investigation, design and software implementation for the ALE-47 Built In Test (BIT) software analysis and correction. This effort will consist of a basic period of 1 lot (LO) Engineering Services with a 12 month Period of Performance. This effort will also consist of two (2) option periods with a 12 month Period of Performance each. The overall effort will consist of three tasks: Task I (Basic Contract) - Investigation; Task II (Option I) - Design; Task III (Option II) - Software Implementation. The program requirements will be identified in the detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS). Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with the mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will utilize best value acquisition methodology and will evaluate proposals and make award in accordance with the Evaluation Basis for Award provision in the RFP. Offerors will be required to submit a cost/price volume and performance volume in accordance with the RFP provisions. Foreign participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 24 Jul 2012 and anticipated award in the September 2012 timeframe. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
