- The Government of the United States, through the Regional Contracting Office Vicenza, publicizes a full and open competition design/build for the following project: "EY-B0892-1J Install Permanent Stairs to North 40 Score Tower and New Public Bathrooms Building 387, Caserma Carlo Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. The aim of this letter is to advertise to the largest range of companies the imminent posting of a pre-solicitation. PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: Project "E8 EY-B0892-1J Install Permanent Stairs to North 40 Score Tower and New Public Bathrooms Building 387", Caserma Carlo Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work subject of the solicitation consists in creating two new extensions on the existing building 387, to be utilized as new public toilets and new exteriors stairs. Work to be performed in this contract includes new slab foundations, new steel pillars and walls, new roof joists, new stairs and all finishing necessary to make the building complete and usable. Including replace with new electrical system and additional portion of new water and sewer system. This project shall be performed in two phases (Design & Construction). APPLICABLE SOA: OG01 Category, Classification I. FUNDING: The project is funded. PLACE OF EXECUTION OF WORK: The place for the execution of work is the US Army Garrison "Carlo Ederle", in Vicenza, Italy. ESTIMATED RANGE FOR WORK: The estimated amount range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This is only an estimate. The bidders are neither expected to make an offer included into this range nor to pull down the price of the offer. MODALITIES OF AQUISITION OF THE CONTRACT: As described in the solicitation. TYPOLOGY OF CONTRACT: Monetary value. TIMETABLE: It will be of 240 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This period of time is inclusive of the project design time of the awarded firm. SITE VISIT: The site visit will take place on the 24th of July 2012, at 10:00. MEETING PLACE FOR THE SITE VISIT: Uscita A, Vicenza Est, parking lot on the left once out from Autostrada. There will be a Government vehicle that will bring you to the Caserma Ederle. We advise you to be punctual. It won't be possible to have another site visit. Only who gave us their personal data by email or already Base Pass holders will be able to have access to the base. The Government, through their guards, has the right to check the identity documents of who wants to participate in the site visit. Who has not been previously registered won't have access to the base. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Companies interested to attend the site visit must respond to the following email address francesca.zotto.ln.asc@mail.mil, writing the project number (EY-B0892-1J), the name of the firm, the address, the telephone and fax number, and the email address, by the 19th of July 2012 at 15:00 PM. We ask you to provide us with all your identity data of the person who will participate to the site visit: first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, citizenship, type of identification document and number. These data will be transmitted to the right Authorities to obtain the pass to access to the base for your firm representative. Our server doesn't provide us notice that we received your email.
