- Description
- The Bankhead National Forest in the National Forests in Alabama has requirement for Clear Creek Recreation facilities roof repairs. The Project consists of the construction of the complete demolition of existing roof shingles, deteriorated roof components, and skylights and installation of standing seam metal roof. In addition, demolition and replacement of all door frames, replacement of damaged doors, preparation and painting of designated surfaces is included in this requirement. Any components replaced shall be of same material, color and grade, unless specified otherwise. Roofs shall be Standing Seam metal as manufactured by Berridge Company, or equal. Color shall be dark bronze and shall be approved by the COR prior to start of construction. All demolished materials shall be disposed of legally in an approved landfill off National Forest land. As directed by the COR, the Contractor shall remove and store any usable existing gutters, downspouts or fascia prior to demolition, and shall reinstall after roof system installation. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns/The solicitation is expected to be posted around Jul 11, 2012 on this website. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available.
