- Description
- The 319th Contracting Flight, Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed price (FFP) requirements contract for Furnishing Management Services. The work required to be performed by the contractor consist of: The contractor shall provide the personnel, equipment, materials, and other items and services to operate the Furnishings Management Office (FMO). Prepares furnishing input to the Base Civil Engineer budget. Orders, receives, and issues furnishings to authorized users. All furnishings must be sourced in accordance with (IAW) GSA Dormitory Furnishings Strategic Sourcing. Stores, redistributes, repairs, and turns in furnishings to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO). Performs Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM). Office of primary responsibility for the Quarters Improvement Committee (QIC) and the Quarters Improvement Plan (QIP) for Grand Forks Air Force Base which has 5 dormitories for a total of 412 rooms. All dormitory information will be tracked using the government program Automated Civil Engineering Systems (ACES). The contractor will not be required to be in charge of key control for the Dormitories.. The performance period will be five years, a base year plus four option years. This acquisition is being issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210, Facilities Support Services, with a Small business size standard of $35.5 million. Award will be made using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable with past performance evaluated resulting in the best value to the Government. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system prior to award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at https://www/bpn.gov/ccr. Vendors can also complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov/. Failure to register at CCR website may make the offeror inelegible for award. This solicitation will only be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies or CD-ROMs will be issued. Offeror list will not be maintained, interested vendors should sign up at the interested vendor list. The solicitation documents for this pre-solicitation notice are currently on hold until further notice due to unforseen delays.
