- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR SIMPLIFIED AID FOR EXTRA VEHICULAR ACTIVITY RESCUE COLD GAS THRUSTERS.Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to Respond to questions and amend the Statement of Work. The due date for receipt of offers Is not extended. Question 1: Who previously provided these parts? Answer 1: Similar parts were manufactured under NASA contract NAS9-19586. Question 2: Is the previously used design accessible for review? If so can it be obtained? Answer 2:This acquisition is based on the designs provided in this solicitation. Previous design is not accessible at this time. Question 3: What are the previous prices and quantities for these parts? Answer 3:Previous prices are not available; previous quantities are similar to this solicitation. Question 4: Quotes are due July 13 and you want a quantity 200 delivered on Nov. 30. What date do you expect to make award. Answer 4: It is anticipated an award will be made within 10 days after the solicitation closes. Question 5: on the SOW section 3.12 Electrical wiring: 'The size shall be 245 AWG, and the length shall be 20 inches.' We have delivered the SAFER configuration to NASA in the past with a gage at 29 AWG. Is this a change to the spec or a mistake? Answer 5: There is an error in the specifications. The size is 28AWG minium This amendment has the revised statement of work with updates. Question 6: We are seeing the last deliveries of the 58-118 units by June 2013, Can NASA find this schedule acceptable? Answer 6: Statement of work section 4.7 is revised.
