- HSSS01-12-R-0066 HSSS01-12-R-0066 The Government intends to award a competitive, commercial firm fixed price type contract for services in support of the 2012 Republican National Convention (RNC) and the 2012 Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Tampa, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina respectively. The Contractor shall provide all equipment rental and coordination/management services in support of both events, which have been determined to be National Special Security Events (NSSEs). Award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government. This procurement is for commercial services. This solicitation is unrestricted. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561990. Potential offerors area hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Website at http://www.fbo.gov. This office will not issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. All proposals are to be delivered in electronic format to N. Clark Lanzendorf at Neil.Lanzendorf@usss.dhs.gov. Hard copies or faxes will not be accepted. There is a mandatory site visit for both locations beginning July 16, 2012 at 9:00 AM in Charlotte, NC and concluding on July 18, 2012 in Tampa, FL. Refer to attachment entitled “Site Visit Instructions” for details. All questions are due July 25, 2012 at 1700 ET. Proposals are due August 3, 2012 at 1700 ET.
