- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Simulation Learning, Education and Research Network (SimLEARN) has a base requirement for 123 each Portable Audio Visual Systems (PAVSs) Out of OR Airway Management (OOORAM) Program with options to procure up to an additional 60 each PAVS. The details within the SF1449 and the attachments defines the requirement for the 183 VHA PAVS regarding this solicitation. Specifically, the Statement of Work in conjunction with Section L and Section M, respectively named "Instructions to Offeror" and "Basis for Award." This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses under NAICS code 334310 - Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. The applicable size standard is 750 employees. UPDATE: 16 July 2012: The purpose of this notice is to provide the Government Responses to Industry Questions. UPDATE: 18 July 2012: The purpose of this notice is to provide Amendment 0002 to the Solicitation. Amendment 0002 provides a modified Section L which specifically identifies the SOW requirements to be evaluated during the Demonstration. Also, this amendment is to provide an update to number 20 of the previously posted Government Responses to Industry Questions.
