- Description
- Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plans to enter into a Sole Source contract with Larkin Community Hospital 7031 SW 62nd Avenue South Miami, Florida 33143-4701. The Sole Source contract will cover a 60 month period of performance for an effort to provide Psychosocial Rehabilitation and a complete continuum of care, including Inpatient for Psychiatric and Medical/Surgical needs, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Psychosocial Rehabilitation, and Targeted Case management. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is the need for continuity of services between the in-patient and out-patient transitional Health services. Larkin currently provides inpatient psychiatric services to ICE detainees with acute and sub-acute mental health conditions who cannot be placed in the general detainee population. This announcement constitutes the only notice; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 622110 and the Small Business size standard is $34.5M. This will be a firm fixed price contract. If no responses are received by the date listed on the notice a Sole Source contract will be pursued with Larkin Community Hospital. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement.
