Pre-Solicitation Notice Remodel of MH3 Project 438-12-109 VA Health Care System, Sioux Falls, SD Contractor to provide all resources including, but not limited to, materials, labor, parts, and equipment necessary to complete project 438-12-109 "Remodel of MH3", in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located at the Sioux Falls, SD VA Health Care System. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in the statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. The building was built in the early 1900s and has not been renovated in quite some time. The project is primarily for aesthetic (floors and finishes) updates, but also includes some minor carpentry. Period of Performance: The contractor shall complete the work required for this project in 340 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed-Price Contract The estimated magnitude of the construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Electronic solicitation documents will be made available in electronic format only through the Federal Business Opportunities website at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is recommended that contractors complete the solicitation mailing list on the website before downloading the solicitation. This procurement is 100% set-aside for a SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the VetBiz Registry website prior to submitting a bid: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in CCR and ORCA prior to award: http://www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov, respectively. Bids will only be accepted from responsible and responsive contractors. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS code 236220-size standard is $33.5 million. A bid bond will be required in the amount of 20% of bid, and performance and payment bonds will be required upon award of contract. Specifications and plans will be available for download from the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov/. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted at the FedBizOpps website as well. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in FedBizOpps. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time of bid closing.
