- Section J Attachments 1 through 45 RFP Sections B through M Acquisition Services Directorate is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) on behalf of the Department of Interior (Department), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), which has a requirement for Vendor Services in support of the DOI's IT Transformation efforts. The Department's IT Transformation efforts are designed to align with the "25-point Implementation Plan to Reform Federal IT", the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative ("FDCCI"), and the Cloud-First Policy outlined by the Federal Chief Information Officer ("CIO"). This requirement is for Foundation Cloud Hosting Services, and associated support services. Technical Service Lines to be delivered under this award include: Cloud-Based Storage, Secure File Transfer, Virtual Machine, Database, Web Hosting, Development and Test Environment, and SAP Application Hosting Services. Services delivered under this award must fulfill a set of common enterprise-wide requirements. This requirement is being procured using full & open competition, and award will be made based on a best value trade-off process in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The Government anticipates awarding multiple ID/IQ contracts as a result of the solicitation. The competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), specifications, RFP amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov under RFP number D12PS00316. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for award of any resultant task order(s). Ensure the RFP number and project title are referenced on all correspondence. Key upcoming milestone dates, as reflected in the RFP, Pre-Proposal Conference is anticipated for August 2, 2012, Vendor Questions are due August 10, 2012, and proposal submissions are due September 7, 2012.
