- ITEM DESCRIPTION: Seal, Plain Encased NSN: 5330-01-598-3082 SOLICITATION PERIOD: 34 days ISSUE DATE: August 1, 2012 CLOSING DATE: September 5, 2012 QUANTITY: 11,100/ EA SPECIFICATION: Eaton Corporation (15284) P/N 9046; General Electric Company (07482) P/N 9520M94P01. DESTINATION: Defense Distribution Depot in New Cumberland, PA, DELIVERY: 330 days ACQUISITION NOTES: Unrestricted. It is the Government's intention to use FAR Part 15 acquisition procedures to award a firm fixed-price contract. This acquisition will contain a quantity option provision, to allow the Government to purchase additional units in an amount up to 50% of the base quantity.
