- This is not a Solicitation or request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. There is no Solicitation or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Command intends to award a firm fixed price for the Regular Schedule Overhaul/Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) of the USNS RICHARD E. BYRD (T-AKE4). The Period of performance is on or about 10 December 2012 to 31 January 2013. Work to be performed at Contractor's facility on/about mentioned dates. Area of consideration is West Coast USA. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 24 July, 2012 with an estimated closing date of 24 August, 2012. Upon issuance, the solicitation, drawings, and all required supporting documentation will be posted on NECO and FEDBIZOPS under solicitation N40442-12-R-3012. All request must provide Dun & Bradstreet number and Cage Code. Teleponic request for solicitations resulting from this notice will not be accepted.
