- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Software Section (DITCO/PL8321), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source award to Metro Mail Services, Inc., a Small, Disadvantaged, Minority-owned business, to provide brand name annual hardware/software support on WINN Item Tracking Systems (WITS) for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Document Control and Mail Distribution Section (MPA). The period of performance is for one base year, 1 Oct 2012 - 30 Sep 2013, with four one-year option periods to be exercised consecutively, and ending on 30 Sep 2017. Due to the unique hardware/software features of WITS and the current investment, since 2008, in the WITS product line, only one sole provider can provide the maintenance support required for this hardware/software. The maintenance renewal for the products is proprietary to Metro Mail Services. A sole source letter has been received by the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Winn Solutions, LLC., stating such. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov.
