- DESCRIPTION: Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, in Shasta County, California has a requirement for the re-roofing of eight buildings. Contract work includes, but is not limited to: Fabricate all roofing components from factory prefinished, 24 gauge galvanized steel sheet meeting ASTM A525, G-90 Commercial Class 1.25, Minimum zinc coating: 1.25 ounces per square foot of surface. The Solicitation number is P12PS16689 for the complete project specifications and requirements. Thr project range is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. All work will be performed under a single, fixed price purchase order. Award selection will be based on a Best Value determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price (technical capability, past performance) as outlined in the RFQ. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about July 20, 2012 at either http://www.fbo.gov or directly from the Department of Interior website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Contractor is responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date. A planholders list will not be made available. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for qualified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HubZone) small business concerns. The NPS welcomes the participation of small, minority women, and disabled veteran owned business enterprises. The NAICS Code is 238160 and the small business size standard is $14.0 million (average gross receipts for the past three years.
