- CLAUSES PRICE SHEET The Request for Quotation number is DTMA94Q20120018 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. This acquisition is a Small Business set aside for offerors' business size not to exceed 1000 employees. The NAICS is 237110. The contract type will be a firm- fixed-priced contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for proposals. A written solicitation will not be issued. The ensuing award is under the authority of FAR Subpart 12 "Acquisitions of Commercial Items". The Government proposes to solicit offers for the following services and quantities: Statement of Work Stormwater Runoff Filtration Provide filtration media to trap sediment, debris, oil and hydrocarbons washed away by stormwater runoff. CLIN items are to be purchased as needed during the life of the contract and by Government Visa Credit Card. CLIN0001 Standard Wattles Provide sediment control wattles designed to act as a barrier to trap sediment & debris washed away by stormwater runoff. Wattles are to be: Weighted in some way so they will require little or no securing against runoff flow. Composed of a dense media that can allow sediment and debris to be trapped inside without passing them through, such as fine, compacted gravel or compacted crushed walnut shells. Straw-like material will not be acceptable. Not overly absorbent that they cannot continue to filter water through the life of the product. Permeable, with a durable, sock-like casing. Flexible so they can be bent into a U-shape or circle with an approx 12" - 16" radius. UV-resistant. Long lasting, with an expected life of 12 to 18 months before deteriorating. Cleanable and reusable within its expected life. High visibility color on exterior casing. Wattles are required in the following quantities and configurations: Standard wattle: 700 Ea. 4 feet long x 4 inch diameter, 350 Ea. 6 feet long x 4 inch diameter. CLIN0002 Wattles with hydrocarbon absorption Provide hydrocarbon containment wattles designed to remove hydrocarbons from stormwater runoff. Wattles are to be: Weighted in some way so they will require little or no securing against runoff flow. Composed of a biodegradable material that has a high degree of efficiency absorbing oil and other hydrocarbons from stormwater runoff. Not overly absorbent that they cannot continue to filter water through the life of the product. Permeable, with a durable, sock-like casing. Flexible so they can be bent into a U-shape or circle with an approx 12" - 16" radius. UV-resistant. Long lasting, with an expected life of 12 to 18 months before deteriorating. Cleanable and reusable within its expected life. High visibility color on exterior casing. Wattles are required in the following quantities and configurations: Hydrocarbon absorbing wattle: 280 Ea. 4 feet long x 4 inch diameter, 280 Ea. 6 foot long x 4 inch diameter. CLIN0003 Filtration Matting Provide sediment control mat to act as a filter in order to trap sediment and debris that may be washed away by stormwater runoff. Sediment Control Mats are to be: Three dimensional woven natural fiber mesh material. Composed of a blend of cocoa and animal fibers having a mesh density of 3.5 ounces per square foot that helps minimize occlusion and blinding while filtering at high volumes. The exterior edge of the Sediment Control Mat is to be fitted with a netted polyester fiber that is designed to capture 100% of debris at 5mm or greater in size. UV-resistant, long lasting, with an expected life of 12 to 18 months before deteriorating. Cleanable and reusable within its expected life. Sediment Control mats shall be biodegradable and may be re-used. Sediment Control Mats are required in the following quantities and configurations: Sediment Control Mats: 4 ea. 6 feet wide x 72 feet long x 1.5 inches thick. Delivery Location: DOT-Maritime Administration, Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet, 2595 Lake Herman Rd., Benicia CA 94510 In order to be considered for this procurement, offerors must provide their product information/specification sheet(s) and Material Safety Data Sheet(s) for the Buyer's review prior to award.
