- 20 July 2012 PROJECT INFORMATION Solicitation No. W9128F-12-B-0045 On or about 03 August 2012, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha District will issue an Invitation for Bid for one service contract to refurbish the outdoor sections of Oahe's isolated phase bus duct. Bids will be due on or about 04 September 2012. Contracts will be awarded on a best value basis and the award is anticipated to occur by approximately 28 September 2012. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS ONLY The contract will be awarded for ninety days (90). NAICS Code 541330 is utilized for this procurement A significant amount of moisture has been found in the indoor and outdoor sections of the isolated phase bus duct system at the Oahe Powerplant near Pierre, SD. The requirements of this contract require that the 21 runs of the outdoor duct be regasketed, the rubber bellow boot connection to the transformer be replaced, up to 5 broken standoff insulators be replaced and that the entire bus duct be tested. In addition, the contractor shall provide an assessment of the entire isolated phase duct to determine if water leaks are present and if any components are broke or damaged. The contractors shall determine the source of the water, assess the overall condition of the system, and provide recommendations for all problems and deficiencies discovered.
