Justificaton for maintenance renewal Special Notice Solicitation No. OIS-12-339 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Division of Contracts Mail Stop TWB 01 B10M Washington, D.C. 20555 Classification Code: -- General purpose information technology equipment Contracting Office Address: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Administration Division of Contracts 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 United States The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order award with SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2) for yearly maintenance renewal for Sybase Seats and ASE Encrypted Software Maintenance. The period of performance for this proposed acquisition is 12 months; 9/29/12-9/28/13. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes or a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates an ability to meet the NRC's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Wanda M Brown, Contract Specialist, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, TWB 01 B10M, Washington, D.C. 20555 via mail no later than 3:00pm EST, July 26, 2012.
