- Description
- SYNOPSIS This notice serves to announce the intent of the 14th Contracting Squadron to issue a solicitation for Aircrew Flight Equipment Services. Contractor is to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary, except for those items specified as government-furnished property and services, to perform Aircrew Flight Equipment Services at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. The period of performance will be a phase-in of 17 Oct 12 - 31 Oct 12 and start date of 1 Nov 12 - 30 Sep 13, with three, one-year option periods. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other applicable attachments will be posted with the Solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on or about 24 July 2012. This procurement will be competed as full and open. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 314999 and the small business size is 500 employees. The requirement will be solicited as a non-commercial service using Contracting by Negotiation under the authority of FAR 15.203. The evaluation criteria will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on http://www.fbo.gov. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation available. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://orca.bpn.gov. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
