- July 20, 2012 Sole Source Announcement The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price Purchase Order for $34,280.00 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Entech Instruments, Inc. located in Simi Valley, CA. EPA requires a preconcentrator system for replacement of existing preconcentrator which is currently being used for the Region 5 EPA. Therefore, the U.S. EPA will be using the same manufacturer. THIS NOTICE IS A SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS AND NO RFQ OR SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA?s requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 5 calendar days of the date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Sources wishing to be considered MUST submit documentation to the office identified above. Documentation must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice.
