Description

In accordance with FAR 6.302-5 "Authorized or required by Statute.", the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Acquisition Service - Frederick, intends to award a sole source award as authorized by statute under Public Law 109-461 to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with the requirements outlined in VAAR 819.7007 Sole Source Awards to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. This constitutes the only announcement and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description: The Veterans Health Administration, Office of Healthcare Transformation, 810 Vermont Ave, Washington, DC requires research and analysis support services to provide an environmental scan and assistance in developing a business plan and report regarding e-Health strategies. The VA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated period of performance is August 01, 2012 through August 31, 2012. The contract will be performed offsite at the contractor's facilities. In accordance with VAAR 819.7007, award will be made on a sole source basis to Goldschmitt and Associates, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541611. The Classification Code is R.
