- Description
- The Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed-price contract for Folsom Power Plant Oil Room Ventilation System Repairs. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only. The work to be performed is described below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the related small business size standard is $14M. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Work will be located at the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Folsom Power Plant Building, 7794 Folsom Dam Rd. Folsom, CA 95630. Solicitation R12PS20230 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 1, 2012. The date for receipt of proposals will be approximately August 23, 2012. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. The purpose of this project is to restore the oil room area exhaust/ventilation requirements per the original design concept. Work to be performed includes: 1. Demolition and disposal of an existing damper and fan housing 2. Re-establishing a ventilation opening that is currently blocked 3. Installation of a custom designed ducting/plenum and fan system to discharge the oil room area exhaust air flow above an existing battery room 4. Provide all materials and labor for a complete and operational exhaust/ventilation system as specified.
