- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to solicit, on a Sole Source basis, Reliable System Services (RSS) Corp., 746 North Dr., Suite B, Melbourne, FL 32934-7276, to provide -Four (4) each: Remote Amplifier Box (RAB) Assemblies, Part Number 224120, and -Eight (8) each: S-Band RF Cavity Filters, 2.2 - 2.4 GHz, part number 224115. This procurement is sole source under FAR 6.302-1 for the following reasons: The RSS RAB and Cavity Filters have been integrated in the MVCS system. This system has been integrated with a Cross domain solution which locks down the specific interface of the unit. All additional Tactical Cabinets built must receive the RSS hardware to be compatible with the fleet and topside arrangement. It would be cost-prohibitive to redesign the system at this stage to support another vendor ™s hardware. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334220, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The response date to this synopsis is 08/01/12. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
