Description
This is a request for information (RFI) only. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The Northwest Portland District Contracting Office, Oregon is conducting a market research to determine the availability and commercial capability of purchasing coded wire tags(various lengths) and associated equipment including detector, diverter gate, quad counter, wand shield, handheld wand detector, and tagging unit) for fish hatcheries used for the detection of fish migration studies in the Columbia River, Oregon. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Supply Contract is expected to be awarded for a base and two (2) option year periods. Potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Government. The information provided will be used for planning purposes only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335999, the Federal Supply Class/Service Code is 9525 and the size standard consist of 500 of employees. Interested sources are requested to provide product information on the coded wire tags used for insertion into fish for detection purposes which are available through their company. Interested sources are requested to provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, phone number, email address, value and type and business size; and (2) fact sheet detailing your company and product being offered that is capable of being inserted into fish and electronically being detected. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only. All information submitted is at the offeror's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of information in connection with thi s market survey. Respondents will not be contract regarding their submission of information or information gathered as a result of this notice. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon the responses received. Any information provided is voluntary.
