- Region 7, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a sole source award, per FAR 6.302-1 to Life Technologies Corporation DBA Invitrogen, 5791 Van Allen Way, Carlsbad, Ca 92008-7313. IAW attached Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition. USFWS R7 has a requirement for a fully scalable real time PCR open array instrument. Market research indicates the Life Technologies QuantStudio is the only instrument that currently meets all of USFWS R7 Conservation Genetics Laboratory needs.. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325413. This not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Interested parties may submit information for consideration by the government to Randall Miller, Contracting Officer at randall_miller@fws.gov.
