- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division intends to solicit Spectrum Associates, INC 183 Plains Road, Milford, CT 06461-2420 for the purchase of (17) Pressure Switches, P/N : 2342-260. This purchase is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. Spectrum Associates is the only company that can supply the pressure switches. Pressure Switches were procured from multiple companies and bench tested to determine performance. After performing the bench test, only one switch met the necessary specifications needed for the HPBAC. The pressure switches from Spectrum Associates is a form, fit and function replacement for the switch that is currently used. A determinate by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Delivery will be to NSWC-PCD 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7001 The resultant award will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The FSC 5930 is and NAICS is 334419. Anticipated award date will be on or about 7 August 2012 small business size standard is 500 employees. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
