- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Sam Houston intends to award a sole source contract to Management Support Technologies Inc (MSTI) for Visual Information Support Services in support of The Borden Institute, HQ Brooks Army Medical Center, TX, which has been publishing the Textbooks of Military Medicine and other military medical publications since 1989. The Specialist is to provide page layout, graphics, and computer expertise for military textbook production. Anticipated Period of Performance 26 July 2012 - 25 January 2013, estimated at $80,000.00. FAR Part 6.302-1(b)(1)(i) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. MSTI was determined to be the only vendor capable of providing experienced personnel familiar with the specific Manual Styles associated with the Borden Institute's Publications. This is not a request for competition/proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement (at no cost to MICC) that will be considered by MICC market research.
