Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC), Independence, Ohio, intends to sole source this procurement to the American Medical Association (AMA). VHA intends to purchase a License Agreement for the use of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) data in the VHA software titled Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA). This license is not available through any other business for use with the VISTA software. NAICS code 511120. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Specialist within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Specialist, Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Service Center, Program Contracting Activity Central 6150 Oak Tree Blvd Suite 300, Independence, OH 44131; via fax (216) 447-8311; or via email at merrie.frost@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VHA Service center will proceed to sole source this requirement to the AMA.
