- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing this "Request for Proposals" (RFP) for environmental remediation services at the property located at 6551 Hollister Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA (Subject Property). The site location is presented on Figure 1. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit the services of an experienced environmental consulting firm to perform soil and groundwater remediation activities outlined in this document. A workplan describing the scope of work presented below has been prepared by another consulting firm. The workplan has been approved by the FAA and will be the basis of the activities summarized in this RFP. To evaluate the respective bids appropriately the FAA requests that your responses do not deviate from the scope of work as outline below. The purpose of this web-posting is to give advance notice of a pending Request for Offers (RFO) for the subject project. This web-posting currently includes the project technical specification, drawings, and notice of the OPTIONAL site visit. Then click on the resulting hyperlink. - Type of Contract: Firm, fixed price. - Service Contract Act wage rates apply. - Estimated value: $75,000 to $85,000 - Optional site-visit planned for August 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. - Offers due: Tentatively, August 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time. There is an OPTIONAL site-visit planned for August 8, 2012, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Pre-signup for the visit is REQUIRED. The RFO will contain full details about the site visit and sign-ups.
