- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Procurement -- Applied Biosciences, Incorporated -- Next Generation Nucleic Acid Sequencing Instrument and Matching Ancillary Instruments. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate intends to issue a sole source Purchase Order to Applied Biosciences, Incorporated by other than full and open competition, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, to provide DHS S&T Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) with a Next Generation Nucleic Acid Sequencing Instrument and Matching Ancillary Instruments. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Thus, this is not a formal solicitation. Therefore, this is not considered a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor is this a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
