- The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Marine Mammal Conservation Division, Silver Spring, Maryland has a requirement for a vendor to - To conduct Epidemiological studies in marine mammals. These studies are to evaluate the causes of death, lesions observed and trends in stranding's and disease in marine mammals nationally with specific emphasis on potential population level infectious and anthropogenic dieses and overall population health evaluation and planning, in accordance with the Statement of Work. Time of Delivery is: August 30, 2012, or date of award, whichever is later, through August 29, 2014. This acquisition will be issued as an RFQ and awarded as a firm-fixed price order under simplified acquisition procedures. This is 100% HUBZone Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. OFFERORS SHALL PROVIDE A RESUME WITH THEIR OFFER. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov, and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. The FSC for this is AP61 and NAICS Code is 518210, small business size standard is $25 million. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on FEDBIZOPPS webpage www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FIDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFQ, specification, and all subsequent amendments. Telephone requests will not be honored.
