- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia site intends to solicit for the procurement of two (2) Remote Control Unit (RCU) calibration kits in support of the Integrated Low Pressure Electrolyzer (ILPE) System. These RCU ™s are proprietary to the ILPE units onboard US Navy ships. This is a sole source action to be awarded without providing for full and open competition. The proposed contract action is a new firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order to be awarded to Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, 1 Hamilton Road, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334290. NOTE: THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS ONE THAT THE NAVY INTENDS TO SOLICIT AS A SOLE SOURCE ACTION WITHOUT PROVIDING FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) 6.302-1. HOWEVER, ALL PROPOSALS RECEIVED WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) CALENDAR DAYS OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SOLE PRUPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.
