- Attached is a Draft Solicitation released for information purposes only. This is to allow industry the opportunity to provide suggestions and feedback to the Government. Questions and answers will be posted as a special notice prior to final solicitation release. All submissions shall be emailed to matthew.jeffery@nnsa.doe.gov, subject line: "Draft Solicitation DE-SOL-0003906? no later than the deadline identified on this notice. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND PROPOSALS RECEIVED AS A RESULT OF THIS SPECIAL NOTICE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR EVALUATED. The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) intends to issue a solicitation for NNSS Power Operations and Maintenance. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The period of performance is for a 12 month base year with four (4), one (1) year options. This requirement will be 100% set aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 237130, power and communication line and related structures construction. The small business size determination will be $33.5 million. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered as a Small Business under the appropriate NAICS code in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The solicitation will be posted on or about August 10, 2012. Offerors are reminded to carefully review solicitation documents once issued as criteria as stated in the solicitation shall govern. Due to file size limitations, interested vendors needing access to the Power System Map (PWS Attachment 2) should email the contact addressed in this announcement.
