Sources sought for Tree Removal W. J.B. Dorn VAMC, Columbia, SC This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. There is no solicitation available at this time. A sources sought is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified/verified business concerns in each Socio-Economic Factor (Service Disabled Veteran Owned/ Veteran Owned/ Women Owned/ Women Owned Small Business/ Small business concerns) relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 561730. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $7.0 M. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the responses to this sources sought synopsis. Requirement Description The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment materials, supervision, and insurance necessary to remove 22 large to very large trees including removing all debris, grinding all stumps on the campus of the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VAMC 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 Submission Requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis (1)Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised. (2)Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. (3)Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past relevant experience and technical competence with a similar requirement. (4)A copy of Central Contract Registration (CCR). Must reflect Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) and Small Business Administration Certification of Small Business Type. (5)Proof of being bonded and of liability insurance of no less than $2,000,000 total coverage. If inadequate responses are received, this solicitation may be issued for full and open competition.
