- This is a presolicitation. The solicitation and RFP is expected to be issued by Friday, 08/03/2012. Remove, replace, and install three (3) existing heat pumps and related equipment and with Energy Star compliant heat pumps in three (3) dormitories at Great Onyx Job Corps CCC (GOJC CCC), as described below. 1. Location: Dormitory Number Four (4): Common Area Work: (A) Reclaim refrigerant and remove 1 (each) Carrier 7.5 ton indoor/outdoor split system heat pump, supplying dormitory common area. (B) Install 1 (each) Trane Condensing, Unit Model No. TWA90D; 1 (each) Trane Air Handler, Model No. TWE90D; and 1 (each) Trane Heat Strip, Unit Model No. BAYHTRL335A26 or their equivalent including controls, as necessary in dormitory building number 4 (four). (C) Re-charge system with refrigerant and test. 2. Location: Dormitory Number Four (4) Work: (A) Reclaim refrigerant and remove 1 (each) Trane 10 ton indoor/outdoor split system heat pump, supplying B&C bays. (B) Install 1 (each) Trane Condensing Unit, Model No. TWA120D; 1 (each) Trane Air Handler, Model No. TWE120D; and 1 (each) Trane Heat Strip Unit, Model No. BAYHTRL335A26 or their equivalent including controls, as necessary in dormitory building number 4 (four). (C) Re-charge system with refrigerant and test. 3 Location: Dormitory Number Seven (7) Work: (A) Reclaim refrigerant and remove 1 (each) Trane 10 ton indoor/outdoor split system heat pump, supplying F & G bays. (B) Install 1 (each) Trane Condensing Unit, Model No. TWA120D; 1 (each) Trane Air Handler, Model No. TWE120D; and 1 (each) Trane Heat Strip Unit, Model No. BAYHTRL335A26 or their equivalent including controls, as necessary in dormitory building number 7 (seven). (C) Re-charge system with refrigerant and test.
