- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the procurement of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be satisfied using commercial acquisition procedures specified in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; firm-fixed-price quotes for the procurement of the following items are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 32-12-50100-2213 is assigned to this procurement for tracking purposes only and this combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) has a requirement and requesting quotations for the following part: Read Out Center (ROC) 7 computer with required cables part numbers: 17TES0044 17TES0057 17TES0052 17TES0071 17TES0072 17TES0042 MFG: L-3 Communications QTY: 1 each P/N: 17TES0700 The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Submit the price quote information via email to CPO Garth Gobbell at garth.c.gobbell@uscg.mil. Responses to this RFQ must be received via e-mail no later than 11:59AM Eastern Time on Monday 6 August 2012. Quotes shall be in the English Language and in U.S. Dollars. Offerors shall submit firm fixed price. Quotes shall also include applicable payment terms and payment discounts which will be used only for payment of invoice purposes. Payment discounts are not evaluated as part of the price evaluation. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov to be considered for award. All proposals must be directly submitted by the firm registered in CCR that is intended to be the successful awardee. Proposal submitted by another firm on behalf of a CCR registered company with the intention of being award "care of" will not be accepted. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote represents the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Quotes shall include shipping to the following address: USCG ALC 1664 Weeksville RD.
