- Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSTS01-12-Q-BMS050 Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will solicit proposals from Small Businesses to perform a "Comprehensive Geotechnical and Civil Engineering Survey and Report." This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSTS01-12-Q-BMS050, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541360 "Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services" and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $14 million dollars average in annual receipts. All responsible sources considered a small business under this NAICS code are eligible to respond to this combined synopsis/solicitation. Per the Statement of Work, the contractor shall provide a comprehensive Geotechnical and Civil Engineering Survey and Report to support the renovation/expansion of the Transportation Security Administration's Testing and Integration Facility (TSIF) located at the Ronald Regan Washington National Airport (DCA). This requirement includes a soil report, foundation report, construction drawings, and a site, grade, utility, and paving plan. The attached request for quotation (RFQ), includes a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities, units of measure, date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance, clauses and provisions, and the FOB points. There is a mandatory site visit on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 9:30am to 10.30am (EST) at the Transportation Security Administration's Testing Integration Facility (TSIF) 3701 Post Office Road, Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA); please confirm your attendance by no later than Noon on Monday, August 6, 2012 by emailing Tim Jeter at Tim.Jeter@tsa.dhs.gov with a copy to Will Reese at Will.Reese@tsa.dhs.gov. All questions are due to Will.Reese@tsa.dhs.gov by 4:30 pm EST, August 10, 2012. Quoter's are required to submit their quote via email to the Contract Specialist, Will Reese, at Will.Reese@tsa.dhs.gov by 1:00 p.m. EST, on August 23, 2012. Quoter's are cautioned to submit their quote in either PDF or MS Office formats. Quoter's are highly encouraged to request receipt confirmation via email. Contract award is estimated on or about September 11, 2012.
