- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. The VA Central California Health Care System located at 2615 E. Clinton Ave., Fresno, CA has a need to hire a Construction firm to bring building 24 (3 story office with research lab facility and adjacent auditorium building) into compliance with current codes. In addition, the project will construct additional clinical research space on the 3rd floor over an existing 2nd floor roof. This new space will support office, administrative, training, conference and research space of approximately 3,843 sf. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, expertise, supervision, and administration for work to include, but not limited to: general construction, alterations, walks, grading, drainage, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work, utility systems, elevator installation and construction of other items that will be specified in the Contract Documents. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220; Size Standard is $33.5 Million. Project Magnitude is $5,000,000 -$10,000,000. The Government intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for award of a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. This RFP will utilize Best-Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, Source Selection Process. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, in accordance with Public Law 109-461. Effective 10/1/10, the apparent successful offeror must apply for and have received verification status from the Center of Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving award. Interested firms shall submit by email only, the following information: confirmation that your firm can perform under NAICS code 236220, DUNS number, and ability to perform the work described sent to mandy.aguirre@va.gov by close of business July 31st, 2011.
