Description
The Air Force Research Lab, Space and Missile Propulsion Division, will conduct an industry day briefing on the current status of the Hydrocarbon Boost Engine technology program. The meeting will be held on 18 September, 2012 at LAAFB at the Gordon Conference Center, El Segundo CA. Government representatives will provide briefings on the current state of technology research efforts for the oxygen rich staged combustion (ORSC) engine demonstration including plans supporting attainment of the program's science and technology goals and transition opportunities to existing and future launch vehicles. A top level outline of topics covered is presented below: Program Overview o Goals/Objectives o Approach o Key Technologies Engine System Details o Integrated Engine o Combustion Devices o Turbomachinery Supporting Efforts Summary / Conclusions Information that is restricted under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Arms Export Control Act shall be discussed. Only DoD, NASA, and U.S. contractors who have registered with Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC®) to receive ITAR and Distribution Statement C restricted Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) will be permitted to attend the meeting.
