Description
This award notice is for a competitively awarded Small Business Set Aside Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) consisting of a one-year base period and one option period. The task orders anticipated for this contract will be for Joint Base Lewis-McChord, its sub-installations, and other customers supported by the Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The task orders will range from $250,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 with most ranging between $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00 and will be for projects of varying size and complexity. Task Orders will include multi-disciplinary construction activities for renovations, repairs, upgrades, and alterations of real property and minor "new construction" to include building expansions and pres-engineered structures. Examples include, but not limited to the following: Renovation, repairs, upgrades, or alterations to building or plant structural systems, mechanical systems, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, fire alarm systems, electrical systems, communication line systems (SIPRNet and/or NIPRNet); renovations, repairs, upgrades, or alterations to infrastructure projects, such as roadways, airfields underground and overhead utilities, and electrical systems, etc. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220. The contract was awarded on 7 August 2012 for an award amount not to exceed $24,900,000.00 in total capacity to be divided among five individual Contractors for the one-year base period and one-year option period.
