- Amendment to change quote due date to August 15. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested contractors of the Request for Quote (RFQ) to obtain repair and replacement of track assembly and shoes for a Caterpillar D6-T Bulldozer in Elmhurst and Chicago, IL, as outlined in the Statement of Work. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912P6-12-Q-0049 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-23. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310, with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.00. Competition for this acquisition is UNRESTRICTED to Business Size. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following clauses listed in 52.212-5(b) and (c) are included by reference: 52.209-10; 52.219-28; 52.222-3; 52.222-26; 52.222-21; 52.222-22; 52.222-23; 52.222-36; 52.222-41; 52.223-18; 52.225-1; 52.225-13; 52.232-33; and 52.222-42. CENTRAL CONTRACTOR'S REGISTRATION (CCR) : Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration System in order to be awarded the resultant contract. Registration can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov. AWARD : Award will be made to the responsive and responsible offeror submitting the lowest aggregate price to provide the supplies in the Bid Schedule. Multiple or split awards will not result from this quote. Any offeror failing to fully comply with the requirements of this solicitation will be determined ineligible for award. No award can be made to any company unless the company is registered in the Central Contractor Registration as required by the Department of Defense. Contractors may register on-line via the Internet (World Wide Web) through the Central Contractor Registration homepage at http://www.ccr.gov. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS : ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE PROCESSED IN THE SAME MANNER AS THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. ALL QUOTES MUST CLEARLY INDICATE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER and be sent to Elizabeth Newell, Contract Specialist, by way of email to: Elizabeth.C.Newell@usace.army.mil or by fax to: (312) 886-5475. Any electronic files (EMAIL) of the quotes CANNOT EXCEED this Agency's size limit of 20MB (includes email and its attachment); files exceeding this size will be denied access to Ms. Newell's email inbox. All offers from responsible sources, fulfilling the requirements of this solicitation, shall be considered if received by 5:00pm (CDT) on August 15. Proposals received after the deadline shall not be considered for award. Any questions shall be submitted by August 14 at 10:00am via fax or email referencing this solicitation number. Questions will not be answered over the phone.
