Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for commercial items in accordance with the format as described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ) 403678, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation and document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Interpark Down Under Parking Garage, 110 W. Lombard St, Baltimore, MD. Interpark Down Under provides the ability to park in the below ground parking facility immediately adjacent to the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) located at 36 South Charles Street, Baltimore, MD. Parking must be available within a 0.10 mile radius of the USAO building that allows for underground parking. The access/egress to the parking facility shall be accessible by main roadways. The location shall be within the delineated area of no more than 0.10 miles from USAO building. The parking facility shall provide 24-hour access to FBI personnel seven (7) days a week, including holidays. Parking facilities shall be well maintained and shall adhere to local and federal laws requiring proper ventilation and exhaust of carbon monoxide. The parking location shall be secured; which is defined as enclosed with physical barriers to prohibit unauthorized entry and access to bureau vehicles. The period of performance is for a base period plus four (4) 1-year options. This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if competition exists that meets the requirements. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical information regarding the proposed specifications. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
