- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole-source, fixed-price procurement with VayTek Inc, 505 North Third Street, Suite 200; Fairfield IA under RFQ 1846124634. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website ( www.fedbizopps.gov ). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. VayTek will be asked to provide engineering services to modify the source code for the Viper Software currently in use by the FBI. They will also be required to provide phone support pertaining to software issues and questions. VayTek developed the software and no other vendor has access to the source code. As a result, no other vendor has knowledge of the software that would allow them to provide on call support or make modifications to the Viper software. Therefore, Vaytek is the only company with the ability to perform the required tasks. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, interested parties may identify their interests in this requirement to this office by 12:00 noon (Eastern) August 15, 2012, via email to the attention of: Lauren Caperton, at lauren.caperton@ic.fbi.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System Number (NAICS) is 541511-Custom Computer Programming Services. The awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor's Database (CCR) and also the Online Representations and Certification (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
