- The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR Part 6.302-1) with AmerisourceBergen Technology Group, dba Automed Technologies, Inc., 1400 Busch Parkway, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089, as the only responsible source that can provide pharmacy maintenance support at various Naval Locations for installed AmerisourceBergen Pharmacy systems. Naval Hospital (NH) Pensacola, Naval Medical Center (NMC) Portsmouth, and Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) have a requirement for a support contract for their currently installed AmerisourceBergen pharmacy systems. The vendor shall provide service as necessary on all installed AmerisourceBergen pharmacy systems throughout the Navy. Support shall include telephone support, on-site field support, preventive maintenance as deemed necessary by AmerisourceBergen and system updates including updates to hardware, software and prescription drug information. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized maintenance contractor for the proposed equipment/systems such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. There are not set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811219. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
