Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center, located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO). The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance of 12 months including four 12-month optional tasks that may be exercised within the base period to Ray Group International, LLC, 100 S Ashley Drive, Suite 1700, Tampa, Florida 33602, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This award will be made pursuant to authority 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Sole Source Contracts for Contracts Above Simplified Acquisition Threshold, � (also known as the Veterans First Contracting Program) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, �Authorized or required by statute � for services to provide software refactoring of Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) components, development of VistA analysis tools, deployment of a system test platform in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) environments, development of VistA system test scripts, and preparation of the open source VistA software for meaningful use certification, as well as facilitation of the Open Source Electronic Health Record Agent (OSEHRA) certification process for all software contributed to OSEHRA. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541511. The estimated date of award for this action is August 15, 2012. This notification shall close on Friday, August 10, 2012.
