- This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) for a Mid-Term Availability on/about 14 January 2013 for 45 days. The place of performance will be a Contractors facility on the West Coast. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is 26 August 2012. Major work items include but are not limited to the following: 021 CLEAN AND GAS FREE TANKS, VOIDS, COFFERDAMS AND SPACES 101 BALLAST TANK AND VOID CLEANING AND INSPECTION 102 FUEL AND LUBE OIL TANK CLEANING AND INSPECTION 103 FRESH WATER AND SEWAGE TANK INSPECTION 202 FUEL OIL TANKS TLI INSTALLATION 301 MAIN SWITCHBOARD UPGRADE 501 NO. 3 AUXILIARY DIESEL GENERATOR (ADG) ENGINE OVERHAUL 502 SEWAGE PIPING MODIFICATIONS 504 PLASTIC WASTE PROCESSOR INSTALLATION 605 ANNUAL DAVITS INSPECTIONS 606 ANNUAL CRANES INSPECTION It is anticipated that this requirement will be solicited as a full and open competition. The NAICS Code is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for, or award, a contract.
