- Sole Source Justification THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for Knovel Subscription renewal for 2 user licenses with Unlocked access. Period of performance is 1 Oct 12 to 30 Sep 13. This is a Sole Source with Knovel Corporation IAW FAR 6.302-1. Knovel is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement because Knovel is currently the only 3rd party aggregator of digital content for 28 digital titles from the scientific community that is needed to meet mission requirements. Their data analysis tools also allows the user to extract the data and analyze complex graphs, equations and tables quickly as well as manipulate as easitly as sorting a spreadsheet. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 511120. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Knovel is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
